Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
Allah will ask on the Day of Judgment: “Where are those who loved each other for the sake of My glory? Today, on a day when there is no shade but Mine, I shall shade them with My shade.” (Muslim)
Another tells us that "On the Day of Judgement, those who had mutual love for the sake of Allah's Greatness shall be on pulpits of light and all shall envy them." (Jami' Tirmidhi, Kitab al Zuhd)
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
“Among Allah’s servants are people who are neither prophets nor martyrs, but whom the prophets and martyrs will deem fortunate because of their high status with Allah.” The Companions asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Inform us of who they are.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told them that they are people who loved each other for Allah’s sake, even without being related to one another or being tied to one another by the exchange of wealth. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went on to describe their great reward on the Day of Resurrection: “By Allah, their faces will be luminous and they will be upon light. They will feel no fear when the people will be feeling fear, and they will feel no grief when the people will be grieving.” Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) read the verse: [Behold! Verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve] (Yunus 10:62). (Abu Dawud)
This reminds us of another famous hadith that enumerates the seven types of people who will enjoy Allah’s shade on a day when there is no shade but His. Among those mentioned are “two men who love each other for the sake of Allah, meeting for that reason, and parting with this love (still cherished by both of them)” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

Loving Each Other for the Sake of ALLAH

As-Salamu `alaykum.
Very nice post, we should love each other, for the sake of Allah (SWT), we can spend life in the rules of Allah, this is not difficult, and we can perform good deeds in every step, like when we meet someone we have to say “Asalam-o-alikum”, Allah will be happy and will give reward, and we should love with peoples for the sake of Allah.
waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
All praises are due to allah amazingly some of us dont even known the blessings of giving the salams something that is rare and if we do then its only for the one we know and i used to wonder until i found out that this will be the sign ad the end of times just visit the mosque and people would just walk you by Before the Hour comes, there will be special greeting for the people of distinction. (Ahmad)
There will be no Judgment until greetings are given not to the people but to particular individuals. (Mukhtasar Tazkirah Qurtubi )
Only people one knows will be greeted with the salaam... (Ahmad Diya'al-Din al-Kamushkhanawi, Ramuz al-Ahadith)
for some people shaking hands becomes a innovation i gues they dont want forgiveness or because of there limited knownledge they claim for it to be a innovation but lets clear those thoughts and confusion by stating The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There are no two Muslims who meet and shake hands with one another, but they will be forgiven before they part.”
Narrated by Abu Dawood (5212); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.
Shaking hands was a custom that was well known among the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them).
It was narrated that Qataadah said: I said to Anas ibn Malik: Did the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) shake hands with one another? He said: Yes. Narrated by al-Bukhaari (6263).
